We have lost some competitive games across all 3 levels. Excited to see how our kids respond moving into week 3 and beyond. Volleyball: The freshmen and JV Volleyball teams have started off the year with a strong showing in all matches. We continue to work on fundamental skills each day in practice and we are seeing improvement each match. The Varsity team has started off their season with an 8-3 record. We played our first conference match this week against PC and came home with an exciting win! The team is a great group of talented athletes who are working incredibly hard. We are very excited about our season! Girls Golf: We are in the thick of our season with many exciting events coming up. We just had our Pontiac Scramble last week, which is the event of the season for many teams. We had 17 teams of participants including our own. We have the Pontiac Invite and the Livingston County Tournament coming up next week which are jam packed days as well. We are excited to see some excellent golf be played with schools coming from the Peoria area, Champaign area and Joliet area- near and far to come and compete in Pontiac. We are having a great start to the season with many players achieving PRs and we have big goals for ourselves. We would like to beat our best team score since Coach Mounce started before the end of the year- 205. We have our sights set and putting in the work! Girls Tennis: The season is off to a great start with girls having won 5 matches so far this season. (5-2) Currently, we have 13 members of the team with 2 joining after two weeks into the season. We are working hard in practice on fundamentals as well as strategy. We have 7 matches left this month, and one tournament. Hopefully with consistent play we can be over .500 in those matches and represent the school well at the end of the Month Invitational. Boys & Girls Cross Country: Boys Golf:
