Poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and drama are examples of creative writing. Creative writing in simpler terms is any sort of writing that goes past the bounds of academic or technical forms of literature. For inspiring young writers, creative writing is a great way to start. Imagination, creativity, and innovation in order to tell a very well written story, with good written visuals, can leave an emotional impact on the reader. Popular forms of creative writing include poetry, short stories, and novels. Creative writing is one of my favorite types of writing since I love being creative and exploring so many variations.
