Movie Review: The Miracle Season

By Jasmine White

The Miracle Season is a tearjerking, inspiring, and just plain good movie. The movie is based on a true story about Iowa City West High School Volleyball team of 2011 that faced a huge tragedy concerning their setter, Caroline Found. The Miracle Season is a great movie about how volleyball can help bring people together after a tragedy. The movie shows life before the tragedy that happened to a girl everyone knew whose name was Caroline “ Line ” Found, when the tragedy happened, and how they rebuilt themselves after the tragedy. It also tells the true story of the relationship between the characters as it was in real life and the closeness of the community. An example of this is at the state championship game where there were many people wearing the “ LIVE LIKE LINE ” shirts and in the huddle when the coach says something inspirational to the team. I would recommend to watch especially for people who like volleyball and true stories. I rate this movie a 5 out of 5.
