Board Report October 2025

Student Acknowledgements:

A big thanks to all of our staff, especially our class sponsors, for making Homecoming week run smoothly. Mr. Durbin and Mr. Hackler do a fantastic job of coordinating the events for that week and we appreciate all the time they put in. Coach Gadbury and our upperclassmen football players are going to represent PTHS at Washington School for their “High Five Friday” and greet their students as they arrive to school in the morning.

Staff Acknowledgements:

Thank you to our staff for dedicating the morning of our SIP day on October 10 th for the Signs of Suicide training that will take place with our students on the 22 nd . It is certainly not an easy topic to discuss, but is always handled very well by our staff.

School Improvement / Curriculum Updates:

Sophomore teacher meetings have begun this year and already led to increased communication amongst those teachers regarding sophomore students and effective strategies to address their needs in class.
