What is Resource?

● It is more than a study hall. ● It is a small, structured special education class in which students receive: ○ Direct assistance with all subject areas and associated homework in a safe learning environment ○ IEP Accommodations, such as test reading and scribing ○ Essential executive functioning skills: test preparation, study strategies, organization skills, etc. ○ Progress monitoring assessments to measure reading and math growth ○ Assistance with working on transition goals for life after high school
