Crisis Incident Response Principal or Designee

First 10 Minutes

1. Believe the messenger. Keep messenger. Obtain correct information (what, who, where, when). Remain at designated headquarters. 2. Verify messenger information 3. Announce a “Lockdown” - on speaker system and security radio. 4. Call 911 5. Turn off bell system and Fire Alarm System 6. School will be locked down

7. Confirm names of victim/assailant. 8. Notify Superintendent or designee. 9. Activate Crisis Management Team. 10. Have blueprints of school available (building specific location)
