Crisis Management Plan

To ensure a reasonable and effective response to a crisis situation in the event a threat arises against students and faculty we must be prepared to respond quickly and professionally. This Crisis Management Plan provides us with procedures to follow to ensure a prompt response.

The District’s role in a Crisis Management Plan is a planned response for an emergency. The District continues to take steps to address all behavior which may lead to a crisis situation.

All staff members have been issued this booklet which outlines our emergency procedures and contingencies. This book is to be kept in your room at all times and in a place that can be easily found by you and/or a substitute teacher As with many different types of emergencies there is a strong probability that the emergency services, fire service, law enforcement agencies, the Institute for Human Resources (IHR), and Livingston County Special Services Unit (LCSSU) will be involved. Maintaining an ongoing relationship with these agencies is essential if we are to have the proper support and response in the event of an emergency.
