Principal’s Board Report April 14, 2025

Informational Items: 1. PTHS Longitudinal Data: I have provided a spreadsheet of 19 years of data for your review. You will find the longitudinal data for items such as enrollment, low income rate, graduation rate, ACT/SAT, etc. I will provide some insight on the data and the changes we have made over time that are reflected in the results. 2. Comparison of High School-Only Districts : You will find a spreadsheet that provides a regional snapshot of high school-only districts. I believe the spreadsheet is useful because it compares “ apples to apples. ” All the districts in the spreadsheet have autonomy over their curricular offerings, yet they also receive students from feeder school districts that have the same autonomy. 3. Scholarship to Honor Ms. Martinez : We will begin providing a $500 scholarship this year in memory of Ms. Brenda Martinez. The faculty and staff have been very supportive of the idea and have already began making donations.
