WHAT IS ZOOM?

is my student required to create an account? No. Not all teachers are utilizing Zoom. It is up to the student if he/she would like to create an account, but it is not mandatory. A student can participate in a Zoom meeting by clicking on the link provided by the teacher.

overview Zoom is an online meeting forum. A teacher can meet with one student or the entire class. This can be live or recorded and sent to students.

Is it safe? All teachers have been instructed on ways to stay safe using Zoom and to best eliminate the threat of trolls.

zoom etiquette - Keep the audio muted unless speaking - Chat feature is only used for related questions. - Do not use the reactions button unless asked to. - Dress appropriately
