Welcome to Pontiac Township High School!

We are excited to welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year here at Pontiac Township High School!

At PTHS, we take great pride in our school, and we are proud to have you as a part of it. Whether you are a student joining us for the first time or you are returning for another year, we hope that you also take pride in being a Pontiac Indian! As you read through this handbook, please take note of the expectations that come with being an important member of our school community, as we all share the responsibility of keeping PTHS a positive and respectful place. The faculty and staff of PTHS want you to feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged, but we also want you to feel challenged to push yourself and grow as a student and as a person. During your time at Pontiac Township High School, we invite you to take advantage of the many opportunities that are available to you, whether that’s enrolling in a dual-credit or Advanced Placement class, mastering a technical skill, or participating in one of our many extracurricular activities, all of which can help you develop skills, friendships, and memories that will stay with you long after you leave these hallways. The opportunities are here, outlined in this handbook, but what you do with them is up to you.

As you move through the school year, remember that your experience here will be determined by the choices you make each day. Get involved, work hard, be kind, and make these years count.
