EMERGENCY AND SHORTENED DAYS Emergency Days Five days are built into the school calendar and are used to meet the State’s minimum required meeting days for a school year. IF IT BECOMES NECESSARY TO CLOSE SCHOOL BECAUSE OF WEATHER OR OTHER EMERGENCIES, THE ADMINISTRATION HAS SET UP THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES AND CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION TO ASSIST YOU: 1. ​ Administrator will send a message through Skyward Skylert system to notify you of the late start, early dismissal, or cancellation. 2. ​ Check the PTHS Website (www.pontiac90.org).
