Board Report November 2025
Pontiac FFA Chapter Exchange
Objectives: As an FFA Chapter and agriculture department we realize the constant changing and diversification of the agriculture industry. We believe that it is important to create collaborative relationships with other FFA chapters and agriculture departments. Furthermore, we desire the opportunity to explore these programs and their facilities in an effort to ensure the constant growth and development of our own program. We will be doing this by providing our students with the opportunity to view agriculture at Weiss High School, Pflugerville, TX. Weiss is located in Central Texas. The original contact in Texas was made through connections agriculture teachers through the CASE Project. Weiss is on the edge of the Austin metro area. We are excited to see the industry, agriculture, and culture. Our students would experience a tremendously different world of agriculture. We seek to gain a greater understanding of the diversity of agriculture and gain new ideas that will benefit the Pontiac FFA members, chapter, school, and community. Dates: January 15 – 19, 2025 Those Attending: Those attending the trip will consist of 18 of our top FFA members. They will be determined through an application process.
