Examples of How to Arrive at a Domain and Final Summative Rating

Domain Ratings in Teacher Evaluation Plan  Excellent - Excellent ratings in more than half of the components of the domain .  Proficient - Proficient ratings in more than half of the components of the domain.  Needs Improvement - Needs Improvement ratings in more than half of the components of the domain.  Unsatisfactory - Unsatisfactory ratings in more than half of the components of the domain. *When there is a tie in the number of ratings, the lower rating will be designated to reflect the ability to grow in the components and domains.
