What's Happening at LACC? February / March

Had a visit from Affiliated Dentists for the preschoolers to learn about clean teeth practices. Preschool is still full!

Early Childhood Education:

Getting ready to partner with Pontiac Fire Department and OSF Saint James for Ambulance Ride Time and Emergency Room Clinical Time.

Emergency Medical Technician:

Engineering & Architectural Design:

Students are working on getting certified in Autodesk & AutoCAD.

Continuing to partner with the Pontiac Fire Department on a weekly basis to keep their skills in line with the current standards.

Fire Fighting:

Continuing to work at businesses across the county, including Once 'n Again, Driscoll Motors & Evenglow.

Inter-Related Cooperative Education:

Participated in " Live from the Heart" - a live Zoom viewing through the Museum of Science and Industry of a live open heart surgery.

Medical Terminology:

Welding Technology: Gearing up to host the first ever Women in Welding Day for 10th & 11th grade female students in Livingston County.
