What's Happening at LACC? February / March

Automotive & Diesel Technology: Received donations from Prairie State Tractor, Stoller International, Vermeer Midwest, and Enbridge.

Participated in " Live from the Heart" - a live Zoom viewing through the Museum of Science and Industry of a live open heart surgery. Students are attending internships with District 429 Technology Department & Pontiac Township High School Technology Department. Flooring is being installed at the home build project. Students are learning to lay both tile and hardwood. Several Guest Speakers have visited, including: Nick Pampinella, Morris PD (LACC Alumni), Livingston County Sheriff's Detectives Drew Chase and Blake Krewer (LACC Alumni), Chief John Franklin, Streator PD.

Catered The Pontiac Holiday Tournament, Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County Breakfast, and Livingston County Soil & Water Breakfast.

Received a donation from the District 429 technology program to help students practice CISCO software. Designed the logo for the SkillsUSA shirts for 2023. Created the program & took promotional images for the new Vermilion Players play "Pete N' Keeley."
