Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)
• PTHS pays half of your deductible, single and family. • Maximum reimbursement - $800 single/ $1,600 family • No claims, no reimbursement- balances do not rollover to the following year.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
• PTHS will contribute the difference in monthly premium to your HSA account ($87.37). • Employees can contribute additional funds to the account up to IRS maximum. 2024 maximums are $ 4,150 single, $ 8,300 family (employer+employeecontribs). • Account is owned by employee. • Contributions are tax deductible, grow tax deferred, and can be withdrawn tax-free for qualified medical, dental, vision expenses. • Balances in your account rollover if unused. You own the account.
