What's Happening at LACC? December

Preparing for the preschool Christmas party & a visit from Santa! Also developing crafts & activities for the preschoolers to work on over Christmas break.

Early Childhood Education:

Getting certifed in CPR. Also working through scenarios of different types of emergency calls.

Emergency Medical Technician:

Sold LED lamps @ the LACC Vendor Fair, also utilizing class time for students to test for certifications.

Engineering & Architectural Design:

Utilizing Pontiac Fire Department 4-5 days a week. Working on skills like search & rescue, truck company operations, & vehicle extrication.

Fire Fighting:

Continuing to work at businesses across the county, including Walmart, Accolade Healthcare, and Vactor.

Inter-Related Cooperative Education:

Currently covering specific areas of anatomy like the digestive system, and incorporating hands on activities for each area.

Medical Terminology:

Sold Welcome signs, metal trees, and other metal decorations at the LACC Vendor Fair. Revealed the snowflake sculpture for City of Pontiac Festival of Lights.
