RE: WORKER’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE RENEWAL

The attached summary illustrates the expiring and renewal coverage with the current insurance carrier, Illinois Public Risk Fund (IPRF), through Alliant Insurance Services from Chicago, IL. Our attached Renewal Worksheet Form shows the expiring and renewal coverage from IPRF. The first column of the page is the expiring insurance coverage for the District. The second column is the renewal coverage as presented by the current insurance carrier and agent. Following are some changes from the expiring:  The Worker’s Compensation payrolls remained the same for the renewal, per the District’s request. The 8868 Class Code (Colleges or Schools, Teachers) payroll remained at $5,900,000. The 7380 Class Code (Drivers, Chauffeurs, & Their Helpers) payroll remained at $15,000. The 9101 Class Code (All Other Employees) payroll remained at $642,142.  The Worker’s Compensation rates have been modified for the renewal. The 8868 Class Code (Colleges or Schools, Teachers) rate remained at 0.393. The 7380 Class Code (Drivers, Chauffeurs, and Their Helpers) rate increased from 9.935 to 9.949. The 9101 Class Code (All Other Employees) rate increased from 4.093 to 4.099. Pontiac THSD #90 qualified for a Safety Grant in 2023 from IPRF, in the amount of $2,095. The District can visit www.iprf.com for additional information and the Grant Application. The Grant deadline is December 1, 2023.

This renewal reflects an increase in premium in the amount of $41, which is 0.08% over the expiring.
