I am writing in regard to the Industrial Technology Instructor position referred to me by my friend Brandon Bressner. With my education, professional, and personal experience, I believe I am a strong candidate for this position. For the past 25+ years, I have worked in construction and carpentry, both in corporate environments and in personal business. Starting with a co-op experience as a junior in high school, I have developed skills and expertise with woodworking, power tools, hand tools, auto body, plumbing, and electrical work. Currently, I serve as the Building Maintenance and Construction Manager for Avian Vaccine Services, ensuring safety and consistency across twenty-one facilities. Much of my work requires training and development of staff members and communication with outside vendors, all while adhering to deadlines and safety protocols. Additionally, I have served with Minonk Fire Protection District since 2008 and as a Lieutenant since 2015, training & developing young men and women in the field. Over the span of my career, I have learned the value of hard work and mentorship, and I am excited about the potential opportunity to pass this knowledge on to the next generation.
