1. Assign staff to answer incoming calls. If the caller is not authorized to speak to the command post, read the statement below.

“Pontiac High School District #90 is currently engaged in an emergency procedure. Information will be released to the news media when such information is available. No information will be released through the school office until the emergency procedure has been completed. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.”
